Happy New Year!
2015 was quite a year for me.
I hit the ground running – moved home, worked everyday, lost friends, sleeping became a hobby, struggled with being different . . .
But it was a great year! I got a fab job, got to visit new places, made new friends, tried new things, and stopped trying to blend in. (Different is cool).
New Year = New Me
I know some of you get upset when people say this but hey, it’s allowed. 2015 was the year of self love for me and it was an amazing journey; I’m actually writing a book about it.
Before I go off track, if you want to reinvent yourself, feel free. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or what they already know about you! Do you, do what makes you happy! (No it’s not selfish to put yourself first!)
The Resolutions – to make ’em or not
My younger sister doesn’t believe there’s any need to. Well I do. Now I’m not looking to change anything about myself,
I’m almost perfect. What I usually do at the start of every year is set five realistic goals I would like to achieve by the end of the year. These goals are usually around personal development, career and relationships.
Setting goals help create a focus and guide in the deliberate steps being taken to get your destination. Be sure to set goals you can work towards.
I’ve got a really good feeling about this year. May all your dreams turn to reality and all your efforts to great achievements.
